Small Children at Disney World

Small Children at Disney World

Here is a great tip called the “baby swap” that helps with small children at Disney World and a group to ride the more thrilling rides at the parks in shifts, when some members of the group are too young or short because some rides have minimum height requirements to ensure that the restraint system will work properly.

The “baby swap” is when a portion of your party gets in the attraction line and the rest of the party stays with the child that can’t or doesn’t want to ride, while the first group goes through the line and ride. When the first group is done, the second group enjoys the attraction while the first group stays behind with the non-riders. It’s kind of ironic that the baby isn’t really swapped so much as the adults are.

The advantage of the “baby swap” is that the second part of the group doesn’t have to wait through the entire line. That’s a big advantage when the lines for the rides are over an hour or more.

  • ALWAYS let the cast members at the entrance and loading areas of the attraction know that you’re using a “baby swap”. They can help you make things go smoothly. They are also up-to-date on how the “baby swap” is to be done.

  • Everything is handled by the cast members in a very cordial and efficient fashion. They are used to working with guests on the “baby swap”.

  • Riders are never expected to ride alone. This can work to your advantage. Since each parent is permitted to ride with another guest, an older child or a third adult can enjoy the attraction back-to-back.

  • The “baby swap” is not advertised. You won’t see signs about it. The “baby swap” is allowed by Disney to enhance the enjoyment of the guest. Take advantage of this tip for small children at Disney World.

Florida Vacation Home vs Hotel

Florida Vacation Home vs Hotel

When comparing a Florida vacation home vs hotel to decide where to stay for your Orlando Vacation, if you have more than a couple of people in your group it becomes clear quickly that the vacation home is the far better value for your dollar. For a group of 5 people, a quite common size, they would need at least 2 hotel rooms to fit the 5 of them. In a Florida vacation home from WWW.PRIMEVILLAS.COM you can easily and very comfortably fit 6 people in the smallest 3 bedroom home and lots more room and privacy for all. To have your own kitchen is a great money saver as you find you don’t have to eat out all the time and can keep on hand the food and drinks you like, and save hundreds of dollars quickly. Several televisions, lots of space, your own private swimming pool, and only a few feet from where you park your car, are just a few of the reasons the Florida vacation home is the clear choice, not to mention the savings in the daily rate where a nice 3 bedroom vacation home can be had starting at $130 per night for the whole house, just $26. per person per day for the 5 person example. Best Pizza in Orlando Florida

Best Pizza in Orlando Florida

Looking for the best Pizza in Orlando Florida and some amazing atmosphere in Orlando? Look no further than the Porto Fino Hotel and Sal’s Pizza. A little place with a big Pizza and plenty of great views. My favorite Pizza there is the Salvatore, with sweet sausage, mushrooms and peporoni. The Porto Fino Hotel is like a bit of Italy, with beautiful architecture, Italian cars, and opera sung from a balcony as you sit outside of Sal’s and enjoy the view of the piazza, with children playing and boats floating on the lake. It is a short walk to Universal Studios from there. You can catch views of the Universal Fireworks from there. There is a Gelateria inside of Sal’s for after your meal when you want something sweet.A great place to enjoy and have a some of the Best Pizza in Orlando Florida, or anywhere.

Celebration Florida the town that Disney built

Celebration Florida the town that Disney built

A must see place on your visit to Orlando is Celebration Florida the town that Disney built, Celebration Florida. Built in 1996, the town is a wonderful place to visit with beautiful homes and a town center, parks, and tree lined streets beautifully landscaped. Walt Disney’s idea of EPCOT was a place where people would live, with technology and great schools and a close knit community where people knew each other and interacted. The home styles are 1940s style often with separate garage in the back of the homes accessible from an alley way. I own a home there and over my garage have a great garage apartment. Homes range from $100,000 – 4 million dollars, with something for everyone. Great schools and plenty of community involvement, golf and parks to enjoy with bike paths and playgrounds. The town center is by a beautiful lake, and includes shops and restaurants and places to sit and enjoy the view. For Christmas there is “Snow” falling every night on the main street along with children laughing and playing. For New Years Fireworks and live music around the lake with plenty of food from the restaurants. Celebration Florida the town that Disney built is a wondereful place to live, and also to visit.

There are so many Orlando free and fun places to visit, places most people would never think of going to. Like the lobbies of some of great hotels here where millions of dollars are spent to get your attention and even entertain you. One amazing must see hotel is The Gaylord Palms Hotel in Orlando Gaylord Palms Hotel where you can see thousands of tropical plants, banana trees and also alligators in the river, near the waterfall, by the Castle, on the way to the lake with the Yacht, that is a bar and restaurant, all in the lobby of the hotel. Another of our favorites is Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge  where you can see Giraffes, Zebra’s and Flamingos out back of the hotel past the fire pit with the rocking chairs. This hotel is just one of the many Orlando free and fun placesto visit. Made to look like it was built with tree trunks and thatched roof in an African style.
